I would like to begin by posing a question: Are we human beings having a spiritual experience or spiritual beings having a human experience?

I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. But what does this really mean?

To me, it means that all of us are direct extensions of source or universal energy. This is the creative and powerful energy that makes everything from the tiniest grain of sand to the star systems that we are not yet aware of.

This alive and intelligent energy magically connects us to everyone and everything in the universe. This intelligent energy becomes apparent when you are thinking of someone and that person calls you within minutes, or even seconds.

Or you see the perfect pair of red shoes in a catalogue and know that they will look fabulous on you. Later that day you decide to try a new restaurant for lunch for no apparent reason. In the shop next to the restaurant you see your perfect red shoes in the window. We call such occurrences coincidences or synchronicities.

Think about your last coincidence. Now you know that it was source energy in action.

Because we are extensions of this energy we too possess powerful creative abilities, even though we may have forgotten that we have them.

You can activate control over your manifestation capabilities. Manifesting is your natural ability to have your thoughts physically materialize into the world.

You are already a powerful manifesting being. Whatever you are thinking about, and feeling is already being manifested into your life right now. You are always manifesting something whether it is a romantic date, a new pair of shoes, financial debt, a car accident or an exciting new business.

Whatever you focus on expands and you bring more of it into your life. The key is to focus on what you want and release all the doubts and resistance you may have regarding receiving your desires.

Remember I said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Being human means exploring, experiencing and enjoying all the wonderful material opportunities that are available to us.

What possibilities do you want to explore during this lifetime? Take out at least three clean sheets of paper. Make a list of all that you want to be, do, or have. List at least 30 items under each category. Are you ready to manifest them and bring them into your reality?

Manifestation is bringing spiritual possibilities into material form. It is just as easy to manifest a million dollars as it is an empty bank account. It is your creation simply by the focus of your thoughts.

Why?

You need to look at intuition as a muscle. It’s not something you discover and that’s it, your life changes.

There are three intuition principles I’ve learned from experience that I wanted to share with you. My intuition principles have helped keep me aware and supported. And following these tips has ensured I don’t get side-tracked and keep me focused.

1. Understanding is the prerequisite to Experience

For years I wondered why I was struggling. I’d read a multitude of self-help books, gone to tones of workshops and retreats.

I knew who all the ascended masters and angels were, what there purpose was. I had gobbled up every New Age technique that was available but things still weren’t quite right.

Don’t get me wrong. Good things happened but I didn’t know how things happened. It was hit and miss. I felt like the universe pulled me along. Life was happening to me.

I realized I needed to stop rushing through life trying to find all the answers. I learned the books and workshops were not the answer. They were the catalyst to me discovering the truth within.

2. Stop Rushing Through Life (Be Present)

What always got me into trouble was trying to do too much, too quickly. I had this urgency of a deadline. Who allowed the deadline to cause craziness in my life?

Me!

You know what happened when I rushed to get something done?

I felt resentful, frustrated and drained.

I made poor decisions.

I had low self-esteem.

Try following the laws of nature. There are cycles of energy for a reason. Slow down. That doesn’t mean be lazy and irresponsible.

When you rush, you don’t create time to reflect on the effect that is created out of your cause. Get quiet for a few minutes. You can find your natural rhythm.

3. You Know The Truth

Why do you keep looking outside of yourself for the answers?

There’s a big difference between research and good guidance from an expert to help you gain knowledge for your life vs. seeking answers from someone who is not qualified to give you the correct information you need for your situation.

Calling a phone psychic for ten minutes in Alabama about whether you should leave your marriage is not the solution. However, smart and successful people do things like this. They look for support from someone who cannot give the best advice.

Thing of a situation, that is challenging you right now. Good.

Now ask yourself the following questions:

What action did I take to create this problem?
How do I feel about this problem?
What first step can I make to solve the problem?
Can I resolve this problem on my own or do I need support?
I need support, so who would be the best person to help me?

When you take time to connect to your intuition, you will discover your best course of action.

Sometimes it takes time for an answer to reveal itself. That’s only because your emotions like fear, anger and frustration block your good guidance.

Initially it may be tough for you to look inside yourself because of past mistakes you made. Go gently. Your intuition is your best friend, so treat yourself with love.

I read in one of Joel Osteen’s books that seven out ten people are angry. I must be one of the three that aren’t because I really don’t see any profit in being angry all the time.

What I do know is that more often than not, we only have to go as far as the mirror to find the real culprit who has sabotaged our lives.

If you’re not happy, or you’re angry, or your life isn’t what you want it to be, there are things you can do to change it, and you can start doing those things right now.

So I have to ask again, are you making these mistakes?

1. You dream about the life you want, but you never do anything.

The truth is, the Secret doesn’t work. If all we had to do was dream what we want, then our dreams would be the real reality. If you want to find true happiness, then start by putting some action behind those dreams.

Ask yourself what you want, write it down, and then start deciding now what steps you need to take to reach your goals. Then take those steps.

2. You read thousands of books, or take thousands of dollars in courses, but you never do anything.

I say this because I’ve read thousands of books on just about everything. I love to read. Doing nothing more than reading can be quite pleasurable if you’re reading for entertainment.

However, I have to ask: what have you really learn? That you need another book.

Again, the thing you need to do is look at what you’ve learned from the experience. Decide what part of what you’ve learned is helpful and then act on that knowledge.

Sir Francis Bacon once said “Knowledge is Power.” I say that “Applied Knowledge is Power.”

3. You blame others for your lack of success because of: you fill in the blank _____________________.

No matter the colore of your skin, age, sex, or any other act of birth, we all face challenges. In this area I have learned no one is exempt.

If you’re waiting for the right circumstances, the right political candidate, or something else, maybe it’s time to take a good look at your life. To my knowledge, the Savior came 2000 years ago and not everyone wanted to listen to Him.

Acknowledge that we all have struggles. Just don’t let those struggles stand in your way. Blame is a useless emotion anyway. It only prevents you from examining the situation objectively and taking action that brings results.

4. You know what you want, but you don’t know how to get it.

This is another of those situations where you will need to take action. Find a mentor, someone who is similar to you who can teach you what you want to achieve. If this isn’t possible, find a group or someone online to help you. There are millions of groups and forums on just about any topic you can imagine. Get involved. You may find you have something to offer someone else wants.

Regardless of your circumstances, there’s always room for improvement. It’s part of the human condition. Don’t wait until it’s too late to take action.

Contrary to common thinking, giving has nothing to do with material wealth. Whilst it may be true that material possessions enhance the capability to give, material gifts serve only to express the attitude of giving behind. With or without material possessions we can still afford to give. After-all, it is the priceless gifts of love and caring which all humanity craves for.

Everyone wants to be on the receiving end all the time, but to have a consciousness and conscience to think of others first before ourselves is extraordinary. To give a stranger a simple smile goes a long way. Just a simple act of kindness, like someone holding the door for me, makes a difference in my entire day.

Though the act itself might be very simple but it is the attitude behind the action which is valuable. So do not worry too much about what exactly you are giving, what has value is the attitude behind it, as the cliche goes, “it is the thought that counts.” Ironically, it is in the giving that we receive. Though we might not realise it immediately, or get the very same gift from another person but the more we give the more we receive.

The immediate effect one can realize is on our bodies. The satisfaction that is gained from giving is invaluable. Giving reveals our spiritual substance, our faith in the abundance in the Universe. For if all you see is poverty and lack, how can you give? A person with a giving attitude has a positive outlook on the world. For you cannot possibly give if your heart is filled with anger and frustration. So already, you can see, that by adopting a giving mindset, by seeking to put others first before self, our outlook on the world will simultaneously change.

All fears, worries and anxieties come when we are too bogged down with ourselves. However, the moment we let go of ‘me, me, me’ and think of others these worries will soon dissolve. This is not suggesting that we give up on ourselves, but rather to take a step back and look at the wider picture. Rather than seeking to receive all the time, seek to give, remembering that whatever we cause others to experience we will experience it ourselves and so much more.

Put a smile on someone face, cause others to feel worthy, and be part of a good cause. In the Bible, it is written “do unto others as you would like them to do unto you”. It is pretty self explanatory that whatever you wish to experience in life, give it! We are all part of the same thing. We all stem from the same one source and we generally all share the same feelings.

By giving to others, you are working in alignment with the Source of all, for the true nature of God is generous, loving and considerate. When you give, God is indeed working through you. And if God is on your side, who can be against you? You are working with the Supreme Power whose capabilities are beyond comprehension, and with whom all we may ever seek comes from.

Open the floodgates of abundance into your life by making others experience abundance. Experience new found joy and peace into your life by becoming an instrument of God bringing joy into the lives of others.

I came across a poem on the internet which beautifully sums up what I have just said here.
“If you see it, touch it.
If you touch it, feel it.
If you feel it, love it.
If you love it…Give it.
Because nothing speaks to the Universe louder, of your belief in self, abundance, and love, than giving. And when the Universe hears, more will be added unto you. Not as A reward, but because you truly believed… in self, abundance, and love.”.
