Believing In Christianity

Among Christians, there has never been any debate over whether Jesus would come back to Earth. Jesus made this promise to them repeatedly while he lived on Earth and it is one of the beliefs that Christians have that keeps them studying the Bible and learning all that they need to do in order to be ready for the day that the Lord does return.

Christians believe that only one person is without sin and that is God. His son Jesus has been known by many names throughout the history of Christianity but typically Christians referred to him as the Messiah before Christianity had a name. When the son of God was born to a virgin in Bethlehem, Christians believed this was possible and it took many years of persecution before the world came to realize that this was fact.

People believed in Christianity after the Son of God had lived his life on Earth and had spent his life speaking about a new life. People from many areas knew there was something special about the man who performed so many miracles. The people that walked with Jesus everyday had a strong belief in the lessons he conveyed to the public on a daily basis, and the lessons he reserved for each of them personally.

Many of the Disciples believed wholeheartedly in the work that Jesus did with millions of people, but there was one that doubted Jesus even in his final days. The belief in the power of Christianity was strengthened when Jesus foretold in his teachings that a day would come when one of his closest friends would betray him, and another would simply doubt him enough to send him to the cross.

The beliefs in the teachings done by Christ did not come to full realization until after the Jew was crucified on a cross. When word spread that this human man ascended into Heaven as he had promised he would, people who were present at the cross on that day believed every word that he had ever uttered. Some of the people there became Christians from the experience and they were Roman soldiers.

Another person who died with Christ became a Christian on that day too. Jesus continued to teach and reach out to others while he was hanging on the Cross. A thief believed in the teachings and his faith was rewarded by Christ that day by being allowed to go to Heaven and have eternal life. The other person had no option but to die and reap the punishment for all of the sins that he committed while on Earth.

People began studying the Bible after another prediction that Jesus made became true and was known throughout the land. Jesus taught his followers that he would be sacrificed so that they could live. After the Crucifixion, people learned after three days that he had indeed risen from the dead because he came back to prove the point and spoke to several people afterward. When people saw him ascend in to Heaven with their own eyes, they had no other choice but to believe enough to pass on that knowledge to everyone they met.
