Know More About Monkey Characteristics

Post by Biotrend in Metaphysical

The monkey happens to be the most versatile of all signs in the Chinese zodiac. Monkeys love to be in the limelight, like to impress people with their knowledge and this testifies to their showy and ostentatious nature. He has an unquenchable intellectual curiosity and is more often than not, the creative head behind ingenious projects. On a lighter note, he loves to make mischief.

Metal monkeys are loyal and trustworthy by nature, loving and affectionate, assiduous hard workers thirsting for success, like to work alone, are determined , ambitious, independent , choose to rely on their own instinct and judgment and sometimes drive away friends with the cold and unbending front that they put up.

Water monkeys don’t like to share or show their true emotions in front of others and therefore wear a false mask in social gatherings. They make attentive listeners and skilled orators who pep up their lively speeches with their wit and humor to convince and persuade people. They are flexible and sensitive people who are easily hurt by harsh words and actions.

Wood monkeys have a deep awareness of conventional moralities and ethics and are always morally upright. You will never find them stooping to illegal or unethical means and as a result earn respect and admiration from all quarters. They are sociable, practical, confident, witty and sharp.

Fire monkeys are fickle minded in romantic relationships , curious about everything, especially those things they have not seen or tried out before, restless, creative, intelligent, strong, determined, full of endurance and stamina and have adventurous streaks in them, always on the lookout for new things to invent or new places to explore. Fear of the unknown will never daunt them. They don’t like to play safe.

Earth monkeys are organized, dependable, and practical, plan their programs in advance, methodical, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable and jovial, down to earth, calm, caring, genuinely concerned for others, serious in friendship and serious about work. Unlike the other elemental monkeys, you can safely depend on an earth monkey. You can never accuse them of being an egoist. Throughout their work they will follow a discipline and method.

Positive Side of Monkey Character

A few of the many strengths of a monkey are tolerance, independence, reliability, honesty, wit, humor, versatility, creativity, intelligence, patience to listen to others, liveliness and sociability. A monkey is an individual of multiple talents and an agile mind. You can always trust him to solve niggling problems.

Negative Side of Monkey Character

But on the flip side he is self-centered, mischievous, superficial, egoistic, conceited, restless, careless, over indulgent and shallow. His love for revelry and merry making does not go down well with everybody and proves detrimental for relationships. He has very little self control and is a bit of a hedonist. Even if he checks himself and abstains from his epicurean pursuits, it won’t be for long and soon he will be back to his old self, although he might be a bit remorseful inside. He is prone to breaking hearts. He believes that the whole world revolves round him.

Money & The Law Of Attraction

Post by Amarosy in New Age

First, your creed should always be: “Abundance is My Natural Birthright”.

As inhabitants of our beautiful planet, all we have to do is look around to see that abundance is our natural birthright. Nature is magnificently abundant; rich in color, growth and expansion. There is no scarcity on this planet, except that which exists in our minds.

The belief in scarcity is fundamentally unsound, yet it persists throughout society. All wars, crimes, vandalism, and poverty exist purely due to the belief in scarcity. On an individual level, extensive research has shown that money is the primary issue about which most couples argue.

Consumer debt is the highest it’s ever been. Ninety-five percent of businesses close down within their first five years of operation. All this is due to the solitary reason that we believe there is not enough to go around. Not enough money, love, opportunities, resources, or time.

We often justify our lack by making abundance wrong. “Money causes greed”. “It’s not spiritual to be rich”. If we believe that rich people are greedy or non-spiritual then we automatically prevent ourselves from tapping into our vast resources of creativity to become wealthy.

Money does not cause greed - scarcity does. It is only when we think that there is not enough to be shared by all, that we resort to arguing and fighting over money or other perceived ’scarce’ resources. A Course In Miracles states, “In a world of scarcity, love is meaningless and peace is impossible”.

So why do we allow ourselves to believe in scarcity and lead meager or purposeless lives?

Carl Jung (1875-1961), the Swiss psychologist and former colleague of Sigmund Freud, broke away from Freudian psychoanalysis over the issue of the ‘unconscious mind’.

Jung was one of the first Westerners who introduced the world to the understanding of the three main levels of the mind: the conscious mind, the sub-conscious mind and the super-conscious or ‘collective unconscious’.

Combined with numerous research and empirical studies, we now know that the subconscious mind (which is divided into several layers) is actually designed to deliver what our conscious mind wants. The problem is, however, that our emotional memories are stored in the first level of the subconscious mind.

These memories include all our negative beliefs, thoughts and past experiences. For example, when our conscious mind says, “I want a new car”, the thought pattern is immediately sent to the subconscious to deliver a new car. If, however, there is a negative belief stored in the emotional layer of the subconscious that says “I don’t deserve a new car”, then the thought pattern is immediately rejected.

Although this is a simplistic example, it demonstrates how our unconscious negative patterns, thoughts and beliefs are responsible for creating limitation and scarcity. Therefore, if we eliminate these limiting beliefs about ourselves and our existences, there are virtually no limits to what we can have or do.

When we access the experiences that initially created the negative thoughts held in the subconscious mind and clear the blockages, then over time, as we clear the emotional layer, we eventually reach the blissful state of our super-consciousness, which is divine love, creativity, enlightenment and abundance.

Limiting beliefs and painful experiences gradually build up energy that becomes stuck. Think of something you would like but have had great difficulty in manifesting, and you will immediately feel this ‘barrier’ of energy. Feel its resistance. It often feels like a brick wall. This is simply compressed negative energy.

Robert Kiyosaki has said that you can only have in your life what your ‘context’ can contain. Context is like a container; content refers to what you can fit into the container. If your context is as small as a pebble then the content, or what you allow yourself to have, will be minuscule.

There are two methods that we can use to eliminate the negative emotions, thoughts and beliefs that block abundance from entering our lives. They are called Subtractive and Additive processes.

Subtractive processes include modalities such as breathwork, transcendental meditation, and regression techniques that take you back to past difficult life experiences.

Additive processes include goal setting, creative visualisation, treasure mapping or affirmations. We need both in order to, firstly, eliminate the negative programming that is stored in our subconscious, and then secondly, use the additive processes to create new, positive thoughts and beliefs.

When we follow a path that includes both subtractive and additive processes, we can live an abundant life. However, we must remind ourselves that this is a path, not a quick fix. We need to allow ourselves time and dedicate ourselves to a long-term commitment to love, joy and prosperity in all areas.

There is a wonderful quote from the book, “Creating Money” by S. Roman and D. Packer, which says, “It takes time for the new to come, and many of you quit too soon”.

Divine Intervention Comes From Your Religious Beliefs

Post by Nbisea in Religion and Spirituality

Sometimes, a divine intervention pulls up next to your steaming, smashed up car on the rain-slicked roads in Hollywood, wearing penguin-colored habits, looking down at you with compassionate eyes. “We have been praying for you to accept Jesus,” the nuns say. This is the story of Natalie Cole, who was in the steely grips of a drug addiction at the time of the crash and who credits this brief intervention with saving her life.

In her autobiography, she also credits divine intervention with saving her and her husband from a fiery inferno in Detroit. Ms. Cole certainly isn’t the only one with miraculous stories, attributed to a higher power. Albeit inexplicable, these stories serve as a source of hope for millions of people.

Janice Bender was told she had months to live, as the metastatic lung cancer spread throughout her frail body. A medical intervention like liquid morphine and chemotherapy seemed her only hope, but even those options had doctors shaking their heads, telling Janice’s husband, Frank, that he had better prepare for the worst. So Frank quit his job as a sculptor, yet he did finish one task: resculpting the mask that lay over St. John Neumann’s face at his public shrine in Philadelphia.

Father Kevin Moley came from the Church to see Janice and before leaving he placed a relic of St. John Neumann up to her forehead and said a prayer. Instantly, Janice felt a warm, soft feeling expand inside of her and over the next few weeks, dozens of tests confirmed the inexplicable: the cancer had completely disappeared! While they aren’t particularly religious people, the Benders attribute the miracle to the divine intervention of Saint John Neumann. “Maybe St. John Neumann wanted this intercession as a gift to him,” Moley said, commenting that the new face Frank sculpted was “perfect.”

In Lourdes, France, a fourteen-year-old peasant girl named Bernadette Soubirous saw the Virgin Mary eighteen times in the cave of Massabielle, from February 11 - 16th, 1858. By the Virgin Mary’s twelfth appearance, a woman’s paralyzed arm was cured in the spring when she appeared at the site of Mary’s appearance. Similarly, in 1901, a man named Gabriel Gargam, who had gangrene feet, was paralyzed from the waist down, was bed-ridden and weighing just 75 pounds, came to be healed at Lourdes but fainted from the exertion.

After he could not be revived, they placed a cloth over his face and thought him dead, but when the priest came to give him last rites, Gargam suddenly sat up, stood up and said he was cured! In 1923, epileptic and paraplegic John Traynor found physical and mental healing after bathing in the grotto.

He was so cured, in fact, that he didn’t remember how long he had been ill! Today, 6 million people come to Lourdes, hoping for divine intervention that will heal them from illness and disability, even when medical intervention has failed.

Sports stars frequently request divine intervention and sometimes, they say, it works! Many of us have a hard time believing things we cannot see, hear, touch or experience with our own eyes.

Yet many of us want to believe there’s a higher purpose for us, some force that can help us in our darkest moments, a comforting answer that there’s something out there. Whether you’ve seen a miracle or not, the power of positive thinking and the healing power of faith cannot be dismissed.
